Fluoxetine is a Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI) used for treatment of Bulimia, Obsessive compulsive disorder, Panic reactions and Dysphoria. The assay is useful for monitoring serum concentrations, evaluation of potential toxicity and patient compliance.
