MDMA, URINE
MDMA (Ecstasy) is a sympathomimetic amine that stimulates the central nervous system activity and, in part, suppresses the appetite. This is a common drug of abuse. Physiological symptoms associated with very high amounts of ingested MDMA include elevated blood pressure, dilated pupils, hyperthermia, convulsions, and acute amphetamine psychosis. MDMA may generally be detected in urine for 1 to 3 days. False positive results may be seen with sympathomimetic amines such as Ephedrine, Pseudoephedrine, Selegiline, Benzphetamine, Fenfluramine, Mephentermine, Phenmetrazine and Phentermine.
