This test is used to detect and confirm the presence of the Opiates group which includes Morphine, Codeine, Buprnorphine, Norbuprenorphine & Methadone in urine. Prescription Opiates are are primarily used for pain management but their misuse leads to drug overdose, toxicity & death. Symptoms of overdose include euphoria, reduced appetite, decreased respiratory rate & gut motility, sedation, cough suppression and hormone changes.
